scholarships and work/trade

A limited number of scholarships are available to people with demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to applicants who are unemployed, in school or who work in the non-profit sector or service industry. Scholarships help offset the cost of class, but we do not currently have the funds available to offer 100% scholarships. A small number of work/trade positions that cover the entire cost of class are available to students who are super friendly, committed to square one's vision and completely reliable. Work-trade positions require an interview and a 6 month commitment.

To apply for a scholarship or for work/trade, please email responses to the following questions to info@squareoneyoga.com:

1. Please describe your financial situation briefly. Include how much you could reasonably pay per drop in.
2. Why do you want to practice yoga? Are you practicing now?
3. Are you doing anything in service to the world you would like us to know about?
4. Are you willing to do work for the studio in exchange for classes? If so, when are you available and can you commit to six months of showing up regularly?
5. We ask that all recipients of scholarships and work/trade assignments pay full price as soon as they are able. Are you willing to do that?
